Organizational Consultation
Because you have options. Conflict is expensive…financially and otherwise. People are also communicating less. Conflict resolution encourages meaningful dialog and
fosters connection. Our services support a focus on self-determination,
confidentiality and neutrality.
Conflict within planned communities is a common occurrence. Survey results from the Foundation for Community Research (2014) found that one quarter of HOA members had experienced a significant dispute with their HOA.
Our staff can conduct a confidential assessment and review policies and operational practices to reveal areas within boards and associations contributing to conflict. Standpoint offers mediation, as well as training and coaching to help organizations shift internal culture.
Implementing conflict resolution steps into your community is proactive and strengthens community through self-advocacy and governship.
We can advice your boards on large transitions, difficult community conversations and support Town Halls.
Standpoint also offers Team Building Workshops that include conflict resolutions games, interactive sessions to discuss difficult conversations in a fun way (current politics, generational differences, aging, meaning of life, creativity) and exercises in staying mentally active and engaged. Cost for Group Facilitation Services
For larger, multiparty community mediation and board facilitation we recommend two mediators for $250 an hour. In some circumstances, we’re willing to negotiate our fees, so feel free to ask.
